The Healthcare MBA

his interesting article from the New York Times discusses the increased focus on healthcare within MBA programs around the country (hat tip to Arturo). These programs are going all-out to be the go-to programs for high-level management training in the healthcare industry.

As one example, Dartmouth will supplement its program with a separate new Institute for the Science of Health Care Delivery.  (“It will invent health care delivery science,” the business school dean modestly proclaims from Paris.)  Many other programs are at top-notch business schools and will focus on health information technology among other topics.

The article contains not so much as a whisper about MHA or MPH degrees.  Should we be worried?
